Guests can take either a highway bus or train to Tateyama Station, and then a shuttle bus to Hanashibuki.
(Reservations must be made one day in advance.)

Tateyama golf courses
Tateyama Country Club- This 27-hole seaside golf course boasts a warm climate and looks out onto the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. The exotic, picturesque scenery of the southernmost point of Minamiboso will transport you away from the concerns of everyday life. Hear the echo of your shot as it flies through this golfer’s paradise only 90 minutes away from Tokyo.

Popular Spots in the Boso Peninsula
Mother Farm- Beginning in late January, three million rapeseeds turn the mountainside yellow. The plum blossoms of March and the cherry blossoms of April display spring in its full glory!
A new show entitled “The sheepdog and pasture friends” begins in March! Strawberry-picking from the 7-level hydroponic system is especially popular!
Kamogawa Sea World- In addition to dolphin and seal shows, this is one of the few aquariums in Japan where you can view a killer whale performance. Children and adults alike will enjoy the exhibits.
Tokyo German Village- Both children and adults will have fun on the expansive grass, playing miniature golf and visiting the children’s zoo.
Marvel at one of the largest light shows in the Kanto region, fields of pink moss phlox and other seasonal entertainment!
Popular Minamiboso Roadside Rest Areas
Tomiura Biwa Club- Tomiura Biwa Club is not just a rest stop, it also includes an atrium that features puppet shows and storytelling, a gallery used by regional clubs for presentations, a shop with local products, and a café.
Miyoshimura Hinanosato- Located along the Chiba Prefectural Road Route 88, this roadside rest area consists of a community center—with a restaurant serving home-made food made by locals —stands selling seasonal vegetables direct from local farms, and Tsuchi no Megumikan, a shop selling locally made goods and other souvenirs.
Aloha Garden Tateyama- Visitors can experience a Hawaii-like, tropical atmosphere all year round. This roadside rest area features the largest zoo and botanical garden in the prefecture, while visitors can also enjoy Hawaiian-themed shows. Try Hawaiian food and check out the souvenirs available for purchase.

Tateyama Family Park- Pick flowers throughout the year, including poppies in spring. Play miniature golf and try making your own original herb products.
Boso no Eki Tomiura- Right in front of the Tateyama Road Tomiura Interchange, this popular tourist facility features fresh local fish and other gourmet foods and products from the Boso area to eat and purchase.
Tateyama Tourism Strawberry Picking Center and Tateyama Strawberry Picking Center- Eat as many strawberries as you like! Nagisa no Eki Tateyama- This seaside facility features large aquariums, a viewing deck with looking out at Tateyama Bay, nature programs and an ocean museum.

Daibo Fishing Port Restaurant- This restaurant specializes in seafood dishes made from fish caught from the store’s own fishing port right behind the restaurant. Popular dishes include an original rice bowl topped with net-caught fish, and the wide range of freshly caught, grilled seafood. Stop by along one of your drives around the area.
Toki No Ne- This traditional restaurant is housed in a refurbished old house that is several centuries old. Dishes feature local fish and vegetables. Relax and enjoy a quality meal.
Gyu-Kaku Tateyama- This popular restaurant offers delicious yakiniku grilled meat in a casual atmosphere. A lively staff greets customers as they arrive and leave.
Umi no Hana- Offering exquisite sushi made from local fish, fresh from the morning’s catch, this conveniently located restaurant is right next to Tateyama Station.
